It’s been a busy weekend - and we can feel having lost an hour. 😅👍🏼 Several open houses and a couple of offers we’re still working on. We also showed this almost new 2 bedroom + den corner residence downtown yesterday for the first time. This is a #VancouverAvenue exclusive opportunity (exclusive listing - not on MLS). Full cooperation with your realtor though, so don’t hesitate to have them give us a call. Very competitive list price - you don’t want to miss it! Lots of photos and floor plan available.
PS... 2 parking! 🚘🚖 (side-by-side) #downtownvancouver#realtorlife
As an industry, we often reveal the more glamourous side of the real estate business (doing deals, viewing properties we sometimes wish we could buy ourselves, dressed up social functions, awards nights, etc)... but let’s be real, in between showing appointments you will likely find us sitting, on our phones or laptops, working on the day’s tasks... and when there’s no couch, there’s probably a butt on the floor. 😬 #reallife#realtorlife#realtorproblems
It’s Friday and we’re getting our mailing game on. ✉️🤓✉️ We’re letting people know about one of our recent sales. We listed a condo in Lonsdale, #NorthVancouver which had previously expired with another agent after 143 days and no offers. With the right prep and strategy, we re-listed the property and sold it in 8 days for 99% of the listed price. 🙌🏼 We love putting together case studies to tell the story of what some of the challenges were, what our strategy was, and ultimately what results we were able to deliver. We have at least several of these and we want to do more (we’re a little nerdy over here at #VancouverAvenue), so stay tuned as we are going to get them up and available online for anyone who wants some geeked out real estate reading. #TGIF everyone! 😎👋🏼 #realtorlife
#ThrowbackThursday to this time last year when we listed and sold this lovely corner unit condo in #OlympicVillage. We just *LOVED* this flirty pink couch from @article. PS. We brought it in. 🌸🛋🌸 (In fact, we brought all of the furniture/staging items to this one. It was a special property and listing experience indeed.) Prospective buyers absolutely loved the cool attitude of this space.
We went to the Buddhist Temple earlier this month (as is @thuphamrealtor’s tradition), to welcome the lunar new year and to pray for positivity and prosperity in 2019. We reflected on the important facets of our lives, including the future of our business and partnership. This lead us to further contemplate health, well-being, friends, family, balance, and how nurturing these things will ultimately bring more success and happiness. We prayed for a progressive year for our team, and we realized that this means creating an environment and business where we can foster success for others. It looks like growth is on the horizon. ⛩🙏🏼 #staytuned
Love that local brands are having so much success here in Vancouver - especially when they create beautiful items for the home. These candles from @vancouvercandleco are lovely - and delicious. 👌🏼☺️🕯🌱 We spotted this one on tour at a home in Dunbar... we’re definitely adding these to our list of “special touches” we bring to spot-stage our listings. 🏠🌱 #westcoast#realtorlife
When home is a piece of art, it’s more than just your most valuable asset, but a space for peace, and a gift you can share with friends. 👌🏼😌👌🏼 This custom 2018-built home by @battersbyhowat and Georgie Award winning @naturalbalancehomes sold last year. We had the lucky opportunity to visit during @westernliving’s Modern Home Tour. This property is a wonderful example of innovative, modern, comfortable design focused on sustainability blended with aesthetics and functionality. #archilovers#realtorlife
Inspiration can come from anywhere - often from unexpected places. For us, we’re continuously moved by the beauty of our environment and the vibrancy of our city. From the right perspective, even street traffic can be cause for a moment of reflection. We took a trip together to Vietnam a few years ago, saw much of the beautiful country, and also visited several rural and government-run orphanages caring for many children who will likely have a rough go their entire lives. @thuphamrealtor’s aunt gives to these organizations regularly and introduced us to the chance to meet with them and offer something we could afford as a group. What does this have to do with anything? When we’re having a challenging day, perhaps late for a meeting and caught up in city traffic, it’s a moment for us to pause and think about how much gratitude we have that this is the type of thing that causes us grief. We recognize the cost of housing is a complex and difficult issue in Vancouver, but we also see so much opportunity and beauty here. Beyond the city lights we are blessed with clean water and accessible mountain ranges, and then of course we have our healthcare system, inherent human rights, and so much more. It may not always be easy - but it’s a good life. We owe it to ourselves and to all of the kids out there to make the best of it. 🙏🏼 We’ll be updating you soon with our plan to give back.
